Are petrol lawnmowers waterproof?
Petrol lawnmowers are not completely waterproof – we do not advise that you leave your Hayter lawnmower out in the rain.
Our mowers will not break if you occasionally mow in rainy conditions, but performance will vary depending on the model of Harrier used – with our highest-end, professional models faring better in severe weather conditions.
That being said, Hayter advises that you never mow a lawn in rainy conditions. This can damage your lawn, will limit mower performance, and affect the quality of the cut.
