Battery Disposal

To help our customers dispose of their waste batteries correctly, we have signed up for the Valpak Battery Recycling Service to divert any unwanted batteries away from landfills. By recycling batteries rather than sending them to landfill, we can help reduce the number of fires at material recycling facilities, which are often caused by batteries, as well as reduce the environmental impact of potential toxic contents coming into contact with the surrounding environment.

In compliance with the UK Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, we are committed to the responsible collection and recycling of batteries. Our Battery Producer No is BPRN04315.

You can return waste portable batteries free of charge at designated collection facilities, such as local authority recycling centres and participating retailers. Please do not dispose of batteries in your household waste.

Under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, we are obliged to collect, free of charge and within a reasonable timeframe, waste automotive and industrial batteries that we have supplied, for treatment and recycling from final holders, such as garages and Civic Amenity Sites. We are required to do this in any calendar year we place new automotive and industrial batteries on the market.
