New Hayter Mower a Shrewd First Purchase Choice

A new range of lawnmowers is being launched this April by makers of the finest mowers, Hayter. The Osprey 46 four wheeled range is a great choice for those either owning their own patch of lawn for the first time, or for homeowners deciding it’s time to make the move to their first petrol mower.  Either way, the Osprey 46 is designed to cater to those wanting to buy quality, but on a smaller budget.

The new range is comprised of two models - the Osprey 46 Push mower and the Osprey 46 Autodrive. Both models are built with a Briggs & Stratton® engine for guaranteed starting, power and performance. The Autodrive variant is self-propelled, taking the effort out of mowing as there’s no need to push as you mow.

Ideally suited for small- to medium-sized lawns found with typical British family homes, Osprey 46 mowers have a 46cm cutting width and four wheels, so they are easy to manoeuvre and use. The range also features versatile “3-in-1” capability, which means users can choose between cut and collection, mulching or rear discharging of the grass cuttings, according to conditions.

If you choose to cut and collect, the 55-litre grassbag can be lifted through the handle-bar making it easy for users to remove and empty. Additionally, a single lever adjustment feature allows you to select from seven cutting heights from 25mm to 70mm, so you can easily adjust and achieve a great quality finish on any type of family lawn.
