For sculpting and sheering, the Hayter hedge trimmers are engineered to balance power, durability and comfort under heavy, daily use. Every Hayter hedge trimmer features induction hardened, chrome-steel blades and dual-reciprocating movement for maximum sheering force. Better yet, every hedge trimmer features precision ground blades and polished cutting edges resulting in the cleanest cut with minimal leaf "browning".
Features And Benefits
- LE Engines - The LE 2-cycle 22.5cc engine is ideally suited for use with hedgetrimmers because of its light weight, high performance and low vibration
- Assisted Start - This is an assisted start system that starts the engine when the rope is pulled like a conventional starter system, but only requires about one-third the effort of a conventional starter.
- Clutches - The clutches are manufactured from die cast material and fitted with bonded fibrous linings resulting in significantly reduced heat build-up and longer life. The clutches are larger than competitors for better power transfer to the blades.
- Main Gear - The main gear has a larger circumference and greater material thickness for better power transfer to the blades and longer product life. The cams are pressed into the main gear rather than spot welded to provide extra durability.
- Rotating Handle - The Locking 5 position rotating handle makes vertical and angled trimming easy.
- Blades - The 600mm long induction hardened chrome steel double sided blade is polish ground and sharpened on all three surfaces for a cleaner cut.
