Walk Behind Rear Roller Operated by holding the handlebars and walking behind the mower. It can be either pushed by the operator or power driven. The rear roller at the back of the mower leaves a striped finish on the lawn Walk Behind Four Wheels Operated by holding the handlebars and walking behind the mower. Cylinder Rotating multi-bladed cylinder that cuts grass against a fixed blade using a scissor type action. The lower the number of blades on the cylinder the better it is able to cope with taller, thicker grass. As the number of blades increases the quality of cut improves but the ability to cope with taller, thicker grass diminishes Rotary Typically this is a single piece blade that is sharpened at both ends. It rotates in a horizontal plane about a vertical shaft and relies on the speed of the blade to cut the grass. Rotary blades cope well with a wide variety of grass conditions from formal lawns to long grassed areas What type of fuel do you want to use? Petrol Mower is powered by a conventional 4-cycle petrol engine running on unleaded fuel Diesel Mower is powered by a conventional diesel engine with fuel injection LPG Mower is powered by a petrol engine specifically configured to run on LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) Do you require fixed or floating cutting units? Fixed The cutting unit is able to pivot about its mounting point in a lateral direction. This configuration is ideal for the majority of grass cutting applications including parks, amenity areas, road side verges and sports fields Floating The cutting unit is able to pivot about its mounting point both in a lateral and a fore & aft direction.
