R3240T

The R3240T has been designed as a high output rotary mower. Fitted with a 44.7kW (60 hp) V2003MT turbo charged Kubota diesel engine. This impressive machine will easily handle long thick grass as well as leaving a superb finish on finer turf areas.

Tilting Platform and Engine Cover.

Accessibility for maintenance and servicing are important when minimising running costs. Both the operator platform and engine cover can be tilted easily to gain access to all areas of the machine. For operator comfort and safety the R3240T can be fitted with an optional full weather ROPS cab.

Good Visibility

By using a unique design, the wing units on the R3240T move forwards in the work position, providing better visability to the operator. This is essential when cutting more confined areas and reduces the possibility of damage to the units.

Independent hydraulic motors

Each cutterblade is driven by its own independent hydraulic motor. This gives full power to each blade and also removes the need for drive belts and pulleys reducing servicing requirements and costs.

Independent Rotary Decks

The three fully floating rotary decks can be used in any configuration. Folding the two wing decks into their transport position transforms the machine into an out-front rotary machine that can cut smaller, less accessible areas.

Breakback System

Each of the outer wing decks is equipped with an automatic system which allows the decks to breakback in the event of a collision. This system therefore minimises damage to the machine and reduces down time.
