The T424 is a high output mower
able to compete with traditional tractor drawn gangmowers in large open
areas, yet has the versatility to be used in confined spaces as either
a triple, or a five unit machine. Excellent all round visibility from the
seating position allows close cutting upto obstacles and helps ensure safer
operation.
The option of a fully glazed all weather ROPS certified cab, gives maximum
visibility and a safe comfortable working environment. Air conditioning
and heater systems are available, giving the operator added comfort in
all weathers. The cab can be tilted forwards to gain access for easy servicing. |

Transmission System
The T424 4WD transmission system allows the machine to deliver excellent
high torque performance on slopes. To reduce travelling
time between sites, the system has a maximum transport speed of 14 mph
(22 kph). |

Breakback System
The two outer cutting units incorporate a breakback system, which minimises
damage if contact is made with obstructions. When not in use the units
fold neatly back behind the front wheels and away from the operator’s
line of sight. |

Operator Comfort & Control
The ergonomic design of the operator platform ensures maximum control and
comfort. The high quality suspension seat, adjustable
steering column and easy to reach controls, provide the operator with a
practical and safe working area. |

Centre Unit
Good access is provided for routine maintenance to the centre unit, a feature
often neglected by other manufacturers. Hand operated
cylinder to bottom blade adjusters make this operation quick and easy. |
