Meeting Guidelines

At Hayter, we are working towards complying with Priority 2 of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

We are continually making improvements to meet these guidelines, and our website has been designed with the following accessibility guidelines in mind:

• Our pages are designed so that they can be viewed at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.
• Page structure is conveyed using header elements.
• A stylesheet is used on our website and relative font sizes on all text with the exception of graphical text.
• Text can be increased or decreased in size by using the "view" option in your browser.
• Images that convey important information have alternative text. Where an image is used for a decorative purpose the alternative text will be left blank.
• No information is exclusively conveyed using colour.
• A site map is available to provide information about the layout of the website.

To read PDF documents with a screen reader please link to the Access Adobe website which provides useful tools and resources. Adobe also has a free online conversion tool for pdfs.

What information is collected?

We do not collect any personal information unless in circumstances when we specifically ask for it.

How is customer information protected?

As required by the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access.

What about "Cookies"?

Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that. Even without a cookie, you can still use many of the features on our site.

Will information be disclosed to third parties?

Hayter do not sell or rent your personal information to others. The information will be available to Hayter Limited Authorised Stockist only.

Terms and Conditions

General

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statuary rights as a consumer in accordance with English law.

Purchasers are required to be 18 or over and must accept our terms and conditions before any order can be placed

Prices

The price you pay including any carriage charges in £ (GBP) will be the price shown on the website when you place your order and unless otherwise stated all prices are inclusive of VAT. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.

Orders

Orders can only be accepted for delivery to UK mainland addresses. Please contact Hayter for information about deliveries to areas not covered.

After you have submitted your order you will be sent by email confirmation of receipt. Normally within one working day we will review your order and confirm acceptance to the email address you provided. Acceptance of your order creates a legally binding contract between us.

We reserve the right not to accept your order, in which case any payment received will be refunded.

The email will give details of the Hayter Authorised Stockist that will be contacting you to arrange delivery and installation of the machine on our behalf.

Delivery and carriage charges

Carriage charges, if applicable, will be as shown as each item is added to your order. There will be some areas especially in Scotland that we do not normally deliver to and could be subject to special delivery arrangements. They will be highlighted when you order when you will be asked to contact Hayter or the nearest stockist with your requirements.

Products will be delivered to you by our nominated Hayter Authorised Stockist, fully assembled and ready for use, contact details will be given when we confirm acceptance of your order. The delivery will not be made unless you are there to receive the machine and sign the delivery note. If on delivery the Stockist advises that the product is not suitable for the application you will have the option to accept delivery, cancel your order or purchase an alternative machine. If you accept delivery against the advice of the Stockist you will be required to sign the delivery note to this effect.

Delivery will be made within 30 days of receiving your order but normally within 7 days. If we are unable to supply within the 30 days we will contact you to agree a new delivery date. If the new date is not acceptable you will have the option to cancel your order and receive a full refund.

Cancellation, Returns and Exchanges

Your order can be cancelled at any time before delivery.

Our 14 day money back guarantee means we will exchange or refund any product returned in its original condition with proof of purchase to the supplying Hayter Authorised Stockist.

Please contact Hayter if you wish to cancel, return or exchange so we can make the necessary arrangements with the Stockist.

Should you wish us to arrange collection of the machine then we reserve the right to charge for collection.

Refunds for machines Cancelled, Returned or Exchanged will be made within 30 days of the machine being returned to Hayter Limited or our Authorised Stockist.

Disclaimer

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the content of the website is correct, we do not accept liability for any errors or omissions. We reserve the right to make changes to the website, its content and these terms and conditions at any time.

Ownership of Goods

Ownership of the products will remain the property of Hayter Limited until payment in full has been received and the customer has signed as received.

Warranty

Hayter Limited warrants its consumer products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 3 years, with the exception of the Envoy which is covered for a period of 2 years, from date of the delivery to the owner subject to limitations listed in the Warranty Statement contained within the Owner's Handbook. Warranty is in addition to any statutory rights but is subject to products having been used and maintained in accordance with the instructions contained in the Owner's Handbook and applicable standard practice.

Credit and Debit Card Security

When a payment is made on the Hayter website you credit/debit card details are protected by Protx and are encrypted before transmission on the World Wide Web. For more details visit www.protx.com
