Allen Hover Mowers are an integral part of the Hayter product range.
Hayter Limited acquired the assets of the Allen hover mower business in early 2007. Allen products have a long standing reputation for superior product quality and superb mowing performance with both professional users and homeowners around the world.
Allen hover mowers are suitable for a variety of grass cutting applications including lawns, rough grassed areas and are ideal for mowing slopes and banks.
These mowers glide effortlessly on a cushion of air, allowing movement in any direction. The engine is connected to an impeller which draws in air through the top of the mower and forces it along the underside surface of the deck. This allows the machine to hover just above the ground and draw the grass into an upright position to ensure a clean and even cut. In addition the circulating air stream re-cuts the clippings many times before pushing them backinto the grass.
Since acquisition the Allen product manufacturing operation has been relocated to the Hayter factory in Hertfordshire. 2008 will also see the launch of the first new product into this range. This is the revolutionary XR44 Hovertrim that has been designed and engineered to provide our customers with the best performing, lightest petrol hover mower in its class.
